a supposedly simple math skill, I think I understand something about expending tremendous energy. My problem is that the energy the child is expending doesn’t seem as obvious to me as the energy I’m expending. I desperately need to remember it’s even harder for the learner than it is for the teacher. Thanks for posting this.
